Mango Lassi

1 cup Yogurt
1/2 cup mango pulp

1 tbsp sugar
3 cups water

Mix all the ingredients and blend for 5 minutes. Mango lassi is ready. ( Serving 3 people.)

Simply Wonderful

1 tin condensed milk
2 and 1/2 cups milk powder

1 tbsp  ghee or melted butter

Mix all the ingredients and bake for 2 minutes. Let it cool down for couple of minutes. Then roll into balls. (Serving 25-30 balls.)


4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
Cardamom powder

Pistachio powder
3 tbsp Lemon juice

Bring milk to a boil, add lemon juice to curdle the milk. When the milk is curdled, strain the water and tie up cheese in a cloth for 30 minutes. This yields 1 cup cheese. Add sugar, cardamom powder and pistachio powder. Place the mixture on the greased tray and cut into square shapes. Roll each square into a ball. (Serving  8-12 balls)

Avocado Bread

2 cups flour
1 tsp sugar
1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup mashed avocado
1/2 cup buttermilk

Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Slowly add  wet ingredients to the bowl taking care no lumps are formed. Mix thoroughly. Preheat oven to 375F.Prepare the dough in any desired bread shapes and put on a baking sheet. Bake for 50 min. to an hour or until the top is golden brown. Insert a toothpick in the bread to check if it is ready.

Wheat Herb Bread

2 cups wheat flour
2 and 1/2 tsp yeast
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar

2 tbsp basil leaves
2 tsp thyme
1/2 stick melted butter

Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add warm water and butter to the dough. Add enough warm water to get bread dough like consistency. Wrap in a  plastic wrap or covered container for 1hr or until it rises. Preheat oven to 350 F. Wet your hands with oil or butter. Divide the dough into balls of 3inch diameter. Place the balls on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes until the bread rises and brownish color develops on the top.  Remove and coat with butter.

Condensed Milk Cake

1 cups Condensed milk
2 cups self rising flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

1 butter sticks ( 8 oz OR 120 ml)
2 tsps vanilla essence
150 ml water
Cashews and raisins for topping

Melt the butter and mix all the ingredients thoroughly using hand mixer.  Pour the dough in a 13x9 inch baking pan (about half filled). Add raisins and cashew on top. Preheat the oven to 400 deg F. Bake for 10 minutes at 400 deg F. Bake for 10 minutes at 300 deg F. Check with tooth-pick for dryness and remove and cool it at room temperature. Decorate with icing or cool whip as desired after the cake has cooled down.
